Throughout August, we switch over to summer Sundays. We have a single morning service at 10am, and no evening service. We do have a lot of special events going on though, so make sure you check out the monthly planner, or the online events diary.
We have three meetings every Sunday, at 9am, 11am and 6pm. Our Café is open before and after every service.
Our 9am, 11am and 6pm services are our flagship services. They are an opportunity to experience what Riverside is all about through lively worship, friendly interaction, the dynamic presentation of God’s word through teaching, and evangelism through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
We have additional programmes for children and young people at our 11am morning service, including Little Stars (1-5), AllStars (5-11) and Fusion (11-14). We also have a parent and baby room (0-1) available during both morning services with an audio link to the main service.
Our 6pm service takes a different flavour each week. The first Sunday of every month is The Cloud, our monthly prayer and worship night. We believe that worship should be at the heart of everything we do and this service provides opportunities to begin each month with worship. These evenings are designed to offer space and time for worship, prayer and ministry.
The second Sunday of the month is Sunday Night Live, where we leave the comfort of our main auditorium and take ourselves out to Costa Coffee on the High Street. Our café evenings provide an opportunity to connect with God and each other through a range of activities from thought-provoking discussion to quiz nights. All with great live music from a range of local artists. Keep your eyes on Riverside News or the Sunday Night Live Facebook and Twitter pages for information!
The third Sunday of the month is our Haverim bible study, where we come together to study the bible in an interactive, relaxed environment.
The final Sunday of the month is Community Action Sunday, where members of the Riverside family have opportunities to take the love of God out onto the streets of our community.
