YOUTH

Riverside Youth

Ages 11-18

Our aim is to give every young person the opportunity to learn about God, to explore and develop their faith, and to put this faith into practice in a way that enables them to grow in relationship with Jesus.

We try to build strong relationships with all the young people we work with, and to help them develop into their full potential as individuals, whether that is within the church, or within their homes and schools.

ENCOUNTER

Sunday, 10am. YR 7- 11

Provides the opportunity for the young people to switch the main preach for a more active exploration of the bible.

DEEPER

Wednesday, 6.30pm. YR 7- 12

The Deeper programme provides the opportunity for young people to strengthen their relations with each other, and also to engage with the bible in a way that encourages questions and interaction!

YOUTH BAND

Friday, 7.30pm. YR 7- 13

Provides an opportunity for our youth to play, worship, and encourage each other to develop further in their musical talents.

FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH

7.30pm. YR 7- 13

This is our largest youth project, which is aimed at reaching the young people in our local community. Every week we run a different main activity (sports, movies, problem solving challenges, quizzes, cooking, art…) and provide a safe place for the youth to chill out and build relationships. Friday nights attract young people from all stages of the faith journey, which provides an opportunity for those early in the journey to see how others live out their faith in practice.
